These terms govern your use of EngineerLM ("the service"), available at engineerlm.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

EngineerLM provides access to large language models through a chat interface and an OpenAI-compatible API. It is a small, personally operated service provided on a best-effort basis, not a commercial product with uptime guarantees.

Accounts and approval

• You sign up with a Google account. New accounts require approval by the administrator before chat and API access are enabled, and approval may be granted or declined at the administrator's discretion.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your API keys secret. Revoke a key immediately if you believe it has been exposed.
• Accounts may be suspended or removed at any time, for example for abuse, excessive load, or inactivity.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful purposes or to generate content intended to harm others;
• attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
• resell access, share API keys with third parties, or place automated load on the service beyond reasonable personal use.

AI-generated content

Responses are generated by machine learning models and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. They are not professional advice of any kind. You are responsible for verifying output before relying on it.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. It may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
